


Singer, actress & educator
Rose Kreider is a Los Angeles based operatic mezzo-soprano, actress and music instructor known for her fierce acting, prominent soloist voice quality and and undertaking of challenging roles & repertoire across the West Coast's classical scene. As both performer and educator, Rose is best known for her variety of challenging roles and repertoire across large company productions, traveling as a key leader in arts education programs, and professionally coaching voice, piano & flute lessons to students of all ages.
Specializing in the classical style, Rose holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from California State University Northridge, compounded with previous extensive training and tutelage across top level arts institutions. Exceeding beyond her central passion for opera, her experience further covers several achievements across choir, chamber, and musical theater settings. She currently studies under the mentorship of Jessica Tivens-Schneiderman while accepting new students of her own.
Recent company works include Opera Santa Barbara, Mission Opera, Palm Springs Opera Guild- with roles including the Tour Guide (Elmer Gantry), Loma Williams (Cold Sassy Tree), Second Lady (Die Zauberflöte), the Turnspit (Rusalka), Dorabella (Cosí fan tutte), and Jennie Hildebrand (Street Scene). Rose has been a regular member of the Opera Santa Barbara chorus since 2023, including productions of Carmen, Le nozze di Figaro, and Cavalleria Rusticana.
